ParaEM am Traunsee

First Inclusion European Championships

A very important step in the right direction. For the first time, the competitions for the European Championships title in the 2.4 mR and Hansa 303 classes are not held as  para competitions but as inclusion classes.  The joy in barrier-free coexistence in sailing thus unites people with and without physical  limitations at eye-level in a sporting ambience and a competitive context. We are looking forward to interesting competitions between all participants.

The experiences of the last years have shown that disabled and non-disabled persons not only complement each other perfectly but can also compete, win or lose in the same boat classes. Interaction and exchange are the criteria that give life to this topic. Here you go!

We as initiators of the first Inclusion European Championships are looking forward to this partnership and to you!

De Facto Inclusion

Sailing together. Competing against each other. Be happy together.Party together. Experience the collective spirit.

Sailing together. Competing against each other. Be happy together.Party together. Experience the collective spirit.

This is exactly what we want to do from May 27th to June 1st.

The idea behind hosting the  EUROSAF European Para Inclusion Sailing Championships is to live the vision of sports without limits and  to visibly convey this feeling.

Vision Integration

Vision Integration

The  initiative Vision Integration together with  Union Yachtclub Traunsee, is the driving force of the 1st EUROSAF European Para Inclusion Sailing Championships 2019. It is our  vision to live and implement integration.

Body and soul. Challenge and fulfilment. Sportiness and ambition. Fun and success. Share joy and enjoy the individual performance. Regardless of one´s physical conditions on a sailing-boat all these aspects are closely related. We can and we will share these experiences. Barrier-free. Accessible. So impairment is no longer a hindrance.
